In reply to Maciej. Hi! I hired the private boat from Yamnini homestay and I went with it to Balbulol and jellyfish lake, but it was a smaller boat than normal and I was the only passenger, so maybe that's why the price was different?
On a separate day, Yamnini also gave me a private boat to the Yapap rocks and Sunmalelen rock art, and that was only 500k since it was a shorter trip. Just an hour or two.

Where did find that cheap Private boat in Misool (1,5mln IDR)? The only option I got is 8mln for 3 days trip?

Hi David, thank you for this amazing post.
My friend and I are about to go to Misool soon, but we’re struggling a bit with the ferry schedule. Since our only options seem to be 2 nights (Monday and Thursday ferry) or like 10 (Monday and following Thursday ferry). At least that’s what Yapap Homestay let us know. So we were wondering how you managed to spent 6 nights on Misool.
We also saw there is supposed to be a Friday ferry but also according to Yapap Homestay they are not regullary departing. Any advice? 🙂 since we def want to stay longer than 2 nights.

Here's what I paid:
* Ferry ticket from Sorong with private cabin — 750k IDR per person, one way (or 250k with no cabin) * Boat transfer between Yellu harbor & Misool homestay — 250k IDR per boat, one way * Boat tour (shared) — 500k to 800k IDR per person per day, depending on how many people join * Boat tour (private) — 1.5 million IDR per boat per day * Marine conservation card for Raja Ampat — 700k IDR per person (lasts 12 months) * Entrance fees at jellyfish lake & some other places — 75k IDR per person at each location * Homestay including 3 meals & drinking water — 550k IDR per person per night

Hi, could you share the prices for excursions and transportation? I’ve been to Raja Ampat a few times, as it’s my favorite place on the planet and I know prices can be steep, due to high fuel prices. I’d like to have an idea how much you e spent with all the excursions. Thank you!
